KPEDD Releases 2026 Housing Assessment

Kenai Peninsula Economic Development District (KPEDD) has published the first two sections of their 2026 Kenai Peninsula Housing Assessment. The report reviews the current housing stock, options for development specifically tailored to individual communities, and recommendations to make housing more available and affordable.

Regional stakeholders, including the City of Homer, have been involved in the development of this assessment to-date, and continue to contribute to the development of the third and final section of the housing assessment focused on strategies and resources for implementation, anticipated to be complete in April 2026.
