This year, immunize when you winterize by getting an annual flu shot. Protect yourself, your neighbors, Alaska’s workers, Elders and children too. Anyone six months or older should get flu vaccine every year. Getting vaccinated against the flu, ideally before the end of October, is more important than ever this year. It takes about two weeks after vaccination for the body to build up protection against the flu so please make a plan to get your flu shot today!
