2026 Lit Lineup

Resolve to read more in 2026!

Join our community-wide initiative to read fifteen books throughout the year!  Anyone can participate, although the books were chosen with adults or mature teens in mind. 

Each book you've read (and reported) enters you into a monthly drawing for a prize. Any person who reads and enters fifteen or more books by the end of the year will be eligible to win the grand prize! Prizes are generously funded by the Friends of the Homer Library.

To participate in the reading challenge:

• Read a book from our list, in any category. 
• Report back that you’ve read a book from the list, using the online form below or in-person at the library. If you wish, you can rate the book and leave comments.

Print your own copy of the Lit Lineup Book List, browse the online catalog, or pick up a brochure at the library.

*New this year!* The Lit Lineup will host an adult book trivia night with a team trivia contest similar to an adult “Battle of the Books” in Fall 2026. More details TBA. This year’s trivia books are in bold text in the print brochure.
