Ceremonial Re-planting of the Peace Tree

There will be a ceremonial re-planting of the peace tree on August 6 @ 2pm at the Homer Public Library.

The peace tree was a ginkgo seed which survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. We will plant a branch from the tree as a gesture of peace and remembrance.

Join us at the library on Sunday August 6 from 2:00-3:00pm.
