Food And Comics: An Artistic And Culinary Adventure.
Join Anchorage illustrator Lee Post in a fun, fast-paced comics class about everything food. We’ll learn some comics basics and talk about our favorite foods. You then design a simple poster trying to sway our little group that your favorite food is the best. We’ll also talk about meals that are important to us, our families and culture, then work on an art project to highlight what makes them important, the meal’s history and how it’s made. Expect a lot of laughs and to learn something new about comics, food and your community. No prior drawing experience required and suitable for all ages. For the most fun, youth under 7 years old may need an adult to collaborate during the activities.
