Skywalker Payne, an Alaska teaching artist, is an author, storyteller, and energy healer. For three years, she facilitated Homer Storytellers. She has shared the art of storytelling at Bunnell Street Arts Center, Homer Arts Council, Alice’s Restaurant, Mariner Theater, and Pier One Theater.
This Black History Month celebration was made possible with funding from the Rasmuson Foundation and the Friends of the Homer Library, as well as support from Alaska Council on the Arts.
