Read, Renew, Repeat: LEGO Contest! (Drop-off)
Calendar Date:
Design a LEGO creation related to the Summer Reading Theme: Read, Renew, Repeat! Use your imaginations to create something that demonstrates the theme! Follow your own ideas, not LEGO instructions! (No LEGO sets, please.)
Bring your creations to the library July 17 - July 23.
Judging will take place on July 24. Winners will be announced at the End of Summer Reading Party on Friday July.
Download, fill out, and bring the attached LEGO contest entry form to the library with your build, or pick up a form at the library. All entries must have a form which includes contact information.
There are six categories by age:
Preschool-K
Grades 1-2
Grades 3-4
Grades 5-7
Grades 8-12
Adults
If you build with a partner or a group, please register your build in the category of the oldest person in your group.
Only one entry per person, please.
Builds will be judged on creativity, relatedness to the theme, design, and execution.
LEGO creations can be picked up from the library at the end of the summer reading party through August 5. LEGOS that are not picked up by August 10 will be considered donations to the library's LEGO collection.
