SUBJECT: TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION FOR CITY MANAGER WREDE TO ATTEND THE LEGISLATIVE SESSION IN JUNEAU, ALASKA, IN MARCH/APRIL, 2010
Mayor Hornaday suggested City Manager Wrede attend the Legislative Session in Juneau, Alaska, to represent the interests of Homer. Travel would include up to thirty days.
Cost estimates for travel are outlined on the attached Juneau Legislative Lobbying Cost Estimates.
Expenditure of funds would require an ordinance to amend the FY 2010 Operating Budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Discuss and approve the requested travel authorization. Fiscal Note: Up to $7,300 for transportation and subsistence.
