SUBJECT: Steel Grid Shore Power Pedestal
DATE: March 4, 2010
Staff has received numerous requests to add a vessel power pedestal to the steel grid for the purpose of allowing vessel owners to “plug in” while utilizing the grid.
Staff purchased a multi purpose pedestal capable of supplying all shore power options required by a vessel in our harbor. At the end of December 2009, staff solicited a fax-back bid contract for installation. $6,600 was received as the low bid.
