Introduction
The Council has made some amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, and scheduled a work session to review the plan and these amendments. Staff is under the impression that all map amendments have been made; therefore these comments are based on the plan as amended.

Staff recommends:
1. Council discuss removing specific reference to the West Homer Neighborhood Commercial Area from the plan. Pages 4-5, 4-16, and Appendix B, Page 8.

2. Council discuss the timeframe of new zoning implementation. It has been twenty years since the last full comp plan was adopted. Do you really want to wait another ten before starting public process to allow for density?
