Memorandum 11-132 Amend the Regular Quarterly Meeting Dates for the Permanent Fund Committee

SUBJECT: AMEND REGULAR QUARTERLY MEETING DATES FOR THE PERMANENT FUND COMMITTEE.

The Permanent Fund Committee meets quarterly on the second Thursday of the months of January, April, July, and October at 5:15 p.m. At recent meetings the bank statements have not been available due to the timing of the bank/committee schedules.

On July 14, 2011 during a regular meeting of the Permanent Fund Committee, a recommendation was made and approved to adjust the quarterly meeting schedule one month ahead. Amending the quarterly meetings to February, May, August, and November will allow the bank statements to be included in the packets.

Homer City Code 3.10.130(b)(5) indicates the committee shall meet at least quarterly to provide direction as required for maintenance of the fund. Adjusting the meeting months will still comply with the quarterly meetings.
 

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the recommendation from the Permanent Fund Committee to change the regular quarterly meeting schedule to the second Thursday of the months of February, May, August, and November at 5:15 p.m.
