SUBJECT:         REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO AS 44.62.310 (C)(1)-(2) MATTERS, THE IMMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE OF WHICH WOULD CLEARLY HAVE AN ADVERSE EFFECT UPON THE FINANCES OF THE CITY, AND MATTERS WHICH BY LAW, MUNICIPAL CHARTER, OR ORDINANCE ARE REQUIRED TO BE CONFIDENTIAL (DISCUSS COMPENSATION OF CITY MANAGER CANDIDATE).                                        

Pursuant to Council’s Operating Manual – “Any Councilmember, the Mayor or City Manager may place consideration of an executive session on the agenda…”

The City Council has requested an Executive Session regarding “Discuss Compensation of City Manager Candidate” for the Special Meeting of March 24, 2015. This has been publicly and internally noticed since that time.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the request for Executive Session and conduct immediately in the Conference Room.
