SUBJECT:         Prisoner Meal Contract

Our prisoner meal contract is up for renewal this year. It is a three year contract with two one year renewal options. The only bidder is the Homer Senior Citizens Center. They have bid to renew the contract at the existing rate. The Center has had the contract for the last five years and has provided good service to us.

I recommend we accept the bid from the Homer Senior Citizens Center and award the new meal contract to them.
