ORDINANCE 11-14
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A RASMUSON FOUNDATION GRANT OF $15,000.00 FOR COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT FOR THE HOMER PUBLIC LIBRARY AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, The Homer Public Library has received a grant from the Rasmuson Foundation; and
WHEREAS, This grant is to provide funding that will be used to develop, expand and update books, audio-visual materials, and electronic reference resources of the Homer Public Library for the benefit of all patrons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Homer:
Section 1. That the City of Homer accepts $15,000.00 from the Rasmuson Foundation for the purpose of developing the collection for the Homer Public Library as follows:

Section 2. That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.
