ORDINANCE 12-50
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A GRANT AWARD FROM THE RASMUSON FOUNDATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,852 FOR COLLECTION ENHANCEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, On June 5, 2012 the Homer Public Library submitted an application for a Tier 1 Grant from the Rasmuson Foundation to purchase books, media, and other library materials to enhance the library’s collection; and
WHEREAS, On October 1, 2012 the Rasmuson Foundation awarded the grant request in the amount of $18,852.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:
Section 1. That the grant of $18,852 from the Rasmuson Foundation is hereby accepted and appropriated as follows and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents:

Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.
Section 3. This is a budget amendment ordinance, is temporary in nature, and shall not be codified.
