City Brush Cutting Notice
July 15, 2025
Public Works will be cutting brush in road right-of-ways citywide as needed to maintain drainage in the ditches and to maintain clear lines of sight.
Work locations on Main Street, Bartlett Street, Hidden Way, Mattox Road and Kachemak Way are being prioritized based on areas with the highest weed and shrub growth and public reports of obstructed visibility.
We will then be clearing most intersections throughout the City and up East and West Hill and roads off of Skyline Drive.
Help us help the community! Please keep ditches and the right-of-way along your property clear of signs, objects and vehicles. Thank you!
