Stormwater Management Projects
The city has hired Coble Geophysical LLC to design stormwater management projects using green infrastructure and natural systems to improve water quality, and prevent flooding and erosion. These four projects are mostly in the conceptual phase but are being actively pursued. Click on the buttons below to explore maps of each idea.
Also, building on their research for the Low Impact Development project, Kinney Engineering is working on refining surface hydrology mapping within the city for the purpose of creating drainage districts. These districts are delineated by striking a balance between catchment areas and parcel boundaries. Kinney will then evaluate each district for impervious surface, zoning type, and hydrology characteristics to develop green infrastructure recommendations per district.
