Water Main Break

There was a water main break that is being repaired NOW (3:30 pm November 4). The water main break caused temporary loss of water pressure or low pressure, North of Pioneer, West of Heath, and East of West Hill Road.  In addition sediments in the pipes may have been stirred up causing cloudy or black water.  The sediments are not harmful to your health; however you don’t want to do laundry with it!  If you don’t have to use your water, please don’t.

Public works is working hard on the break and will be flushing the lines later this evening.  When you use your water later this evening or in the AM and it is of different color please run your faucets for 5-10 minutes till it clears up. If not call Public Works: 235-3170
