Water Main Repair on Pioneer Avenue, Friday Feb 5

Update 1:30 pm, Thursday February 4:

The water main break on Pioneer Avenue has been repaired.  Water pressure to affected customers should be fully restored.

Pioneer Avenue lane reduction will remain in effect through Friday, February 5^th to allow room for a concrete contractor to complete sidewalk repair.

There has been a water main break on Pioneer Avenue near the Independent Living Center.

Public Works will be conducting repairs starting at 4:00 AM on Thursday, February 4.  Work will continue until the repair is complete.

During the repair, Pioneer Avenue will remain open to traffic, but it will be reduced to  two lanes – the center turn lane and the northern-most lane.  Please avoid the construction area if possible; when in the area, please reduce your speed for construction site safety.

Some water customers may experience a water shutdown late Thursday afternoon.
