WKFL (Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith & Love) Park
In downtown Homer at the corner of Pioneer Avenue and Heath Street is WKFL Park (Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith, and Love). Built in 1989 the park is bordered by gardens maintained by volunteers and a Hospice of Homer Memorial Garden. Two peace poles inscribed in four languages "May Peace Prevail on Earth" grace paths on each side of the park. The Eric Ringer Memorial Gazebo affords a lovely place to stop and sit on your way through town. A popular staging spot for organized events, the gazebo is available for reservation on our Reserve a Park Pavilion page.
