RESOLUTION 14-094
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL DISBANDING THE PORT AND HARBOR IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Resolution 11-060 created the Port and Harbor Improvement Committee and tasked the Committee to develop a revenue bonding program to fund six port and harbor projects that have been on the city’s Capital Improvement Plan for a number of years ; and
Whereas, The Port and Harbor Improvement Committee met regularly, considered and revised the project list, addressed appropriate tariff fee increases, held public hearings, and sought recommendations from the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission ; and
WHEREAS, The Port and Harbor Improvement Committee made their final report and recommendations to Council in Memorandum 12-076 which were adopted by Resolution 12-043 ; and
WHEREAS, Funds have been secured and the port and harbor improvements are in progress; and
WHEREAS, The Port and Harbor Improvement Committee has completed the work it was tasked with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, disbands the Port and Harbor Improvement Committee.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 8th day of September, 2014.
