RESOLUTION 17-025
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACKNOWLEDGING THE MARCH 2017 SURPLUS EQUIPMENT BID RESULTS.
WHEREAS, a Surplus Personal Property Sale was conducted in accordance with Homer City Code 18.30; and
WHEREAS, The March 2017 Surplus Equipment Sale Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News March 2 and March 9, 2017 and posted on the City of Homer website; and
WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017; and
WHEREAS, There were 110 items on the surplus equipment list; and
WHEREAS, 24 bidders submitted a total of 119 bids on 108 of the items available for sale; and
WHEREAS, The City Manager shall reevaluate the value of the items not bid upon and if found to meet the criteria of Homer City Code 18.30.040, the City Manager may authorize the disposal of items through non-competitive bidding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, hereby acknowledges the surplus equipment bid results, attached as Exhibit A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 28th day of March, 2017.
