Homer All-Ages and Abilities Pathway

Project Description

Since adopting its first Non-Motorized Transportation Plan over 20 years ago, the City has made significant strides in addressing the lack of sidewalk facilities in Homer, a town originally designed around automobile transportation in the 1960s. However, critical sidewalk gaps remain in Homer’s Central Business District.

2026-2031 CIP

The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) provides information on capital projects identified as priorities for the Homer community.  Projects to be undertaken by the State of Alaska and other non-City organizations are included in the CIP in separate sections. An overview of the financial assumptions can be found in the Appendix.
