Homer Title 21 Update

Newly constructed triplexThe City of Homer is revising its zoning policies, which are found in Title 21 of the City Code. Zoning code governs how land may be used and helps achieve future land use goals established by the City's Comprehensive Plan.

HERC Community Information Meeting

The City of Homer is hosting a community informational meeting regarding the Homer Education and Recreation Center (HERC). Special guests include staff from the State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation  Brownfields Program,  consultants from BGES – an environmental consulting firm hired by the state to conduct hazardous materials testing, and a facilitator from the Center for Creative Land Recycling.
