Title 21 Public Review Draft: We Want Your Feedback

The City of Homer has begun revising Title 21, our community planning and zoning code. The Public Review Draft is now out for a 45-day public comment period.

Visit www.HomerT21CodeUpdate.com to review the draft code and to see your options for providing input. Additionally, there's a step-by-step guide explaining how the draft code is written and how to quickly find topics of interest. Whether you read the entire document or focus on the topics that matter most to you, your input helps us reach our project goals.

Homer Airport Terminal Partially Reopened; Services Resume

Update March 31, 2026

The eastern portion of the Homer Airport Terminal has reopened. The western portion remains closed due to flood damage.

Presently, Alaska Bus Company, Aleutian Airways and Pioneer Car Rental are operating out of the east end of the terminal. Travelers should use the door at the east end of the building.

Construction To Begin on Raw Water Transmission Main Project

After years of working with FEMA and completing design and permitting, the City of Homer is pleased to announce that construction is slated to begin April 6 on the Raw Water Transmission Main Replacement project!  The contractor will be staging equipment off Carter Drive this week.
