PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
2025 WATER & WASTEWATER MASTER PLAN

The City of Homer, Alaska is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms for the creation of a Water and Wastewater Master Plan. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities in the proposals, and to award a contract to the respondent that best meets the selection criteria.

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is updating the Statewide Long-Range Transportation Plan. This plan will guide Alaska's transportation policies and investments through 2055. This 30-year plan will set the course for how people and goods move across Alaska by:

Homer Elks Lodge #2127 is hosting the Elks Soccer Shoot for youth ages 5 to 15.

This will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025 (early release day) at West Homer Elementary.

Ages 5-11 1:30pm & Ages 12-15 at 2:45pm

Thank you, Library Supporters! On August 11, 2025, the Homer City Council passed Resolution 25-074, extending the City’s gratitude to the hundreds upon hundreds of people who have supported the Homer Public Library since its founding in 1938. These people literally built the library from the ground up and keep it running today.
