The library hosts councilmembers as an opportunity for community members to bring their questions and ideas to their elected representatives. One or two (or a few) councilmembers will visit each month for informal conversation.

Sports Gear Lending Program

The Sports Gear Lending Program is provided to allow community members to borrow sporting goods and recreational equipment from the Community Recreation Program and the Homer Public Library. There is a limited quantity and selection of items but the intent is to encourage community members to get outside to play and recreate.
