Sports Gear Lending Program
The Sports Gear Lending Program is provided to allow community members to borrow sporting goods and recreational equipment from the Community Recreation Program and the Homer Public Library. If you have a Homer Public Library card you can check out the items. There is a limited quantity and selection of items but the intent is to encourage community members to get outside to play and recreate. This is a free program and we may accept specific donated items that are clean, safe and in working condition that could be utilized by other community members. Contact Recreation Manager at millg@ci.homer.ak.us or 907-235-6090 to arrange potential donation.
Some of the items include but are not limited to:
Board games, activities, sleds, metal detectors, HappyLight® light-therapy boxes, soccer, volleyball & basketballs, pickleball set, corn hole games, disc golf set, birder backpacks, sensory activity backpacks, and much more!
