Alaska Air National Guard Night Training

The Alaska Air National Guard is in Homer conducting Night Water Training exercises, so you may hear or see nighttime activity out in the bay. The Guard respond to calls year-round and this training is imperative to ensure pilots, para-jumpers, and other team members are ready to respond when emergencies happen. Training flights are starting from Homer Airport after sunset and continue into the early morning hours through Friday morning.
