Good News! HPL Now Offers Zero-Contact Drive-Up Materials Check Out
Good news! Homer Public Library has resumed limited operations
beginning Wednesday, April 29.
Patrons will be able to check out materials from the back door.
How do I check out materials?
1. The building is still closed to the public for browsing the stacks, but you can place holds and pick them up outside the library. You can place holds in three ways
- by logging into the online catalog
- by sending an email to circ@ci.homer.ak.us -- make sure you provide a good phone number for us to reach you
- by calling us at 907-235-3180.
2. Staff will bag up your items for you and give you a call to schedule a pickup time. Pickup will be available Monday through Saturday, 10:00-11:45 and 1:00-4:45. At this time, we are asking patrons to schedule only one pickup per week. Be sure to bring your library card number with you.
3. Park in the employee parking lot, near the bookdrop, and call 907-435-3195. Staff will bring your items out to a table on the sidewalk.
How do I return materials?
The bookdrop is open again.
I'm confused. Where can I get help with all this?
Call us at 907-235-3180. We're happy to walk you through the whole process.
