Registration for Summer@HPL begins May 15

Summer reading and learning are for everyone!

Do you have a child who is:

  • A new reader
  • A selective reader
  • A passionate reader?

Summer @HPL's reading program and calendar of free activities can help!

     KIDS

    TEENS

  ADULTS

Kids and teens who read for fun and are part of informal learning programs are less likely to experience "summer slide" (learning loss between school years).

Events like book workshops, games, live performances, the Maker Club, storytimes, the LEGO® competition, etc, can help connect kids and teens with the library, reading, and lifelong learning in new and positive ways.
Summer @HPL 2017 will offer weeks full of FREE events for all ages.

Adults participate, too! When parents and caregivers read (or listen to audiobooks), their kids and teens get the message -  reading is valuable. Reading and listening together can be even more fun!

 REGISTRATION BEGINS MAY 15

Read, play, and discover at the library this summer! Sign up on May 15!
