Flexible Intro to Pickleball Classes

Are you interested in learning about  pickleball but the days and times for scheduled opportunities do not work for you?  Maybe you are not interested in attending the drop-in open play either? Maybe you have a group of folks who are also interested in learning and playing together and would like some simple and easy instructions to this fun sport.

The City of Homer Community Recreation is offering a new 2 hour long Intro to Pickleball Class* that caters to the participation interest with flexible days and times.  This could be a team building opportunity, a work event or part of a birthday party. This is how it works:

Option 1 (Individual): Send us an email with your contact information and ideal days and times that work for you as an individual and we will add you on an ongoing list.  Once we have reached the minimum number of players (8) we will then contact all the interested participants with day and time for the Beginner Pickleball Class.  The cost would be $5/person and we will provide all of the equipment and instructions.

Option 2 (Group): If you already have a group of at least 8 people ready to play, send us an email with ideal days and times that work for your group.  This group could be your co-workers or friends, your business staff as a team building activity, or maybe you have guests coming to town.  You will need a minimum of 8 participants (maximum of 12) at $5 /person.

*Note: this is for participants ages 13 to adults.  A youth only pickleball class may be a possibility depending on staffing capacity and additional volunteer coaches availability.
