Kids Yoga For ages 5-11
Kids Yoga With Joanna
Joanna is a certified yoga teacher, with certification specializing in kids yoga. Each class is $5 per person. No experience needed. Connections students can use allotment if they have PE listed on their ILP.
Please note: siblings and other family members cannot hang around the HERC building during the class. One parent/guardian is welcome to participate in the class, or you can drop off your child and use the time to do other things.

PRE-K (Ages 4-6) Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30am Starting April 5th
This one-hour class focuses on different ways to get your wiggles out! The littlest yogis will explore simple yoga poses, while incorporating stories, music, and playful yoga games. There is an emphasis on fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, sensory and physical exploration, and social skills.
Classes are tailored to the ages of the participants, but parents are welcome to join.
Elementary Grades 2-5 (ages 6-11) Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30pm Starting April 5th
This class gives elementary aged yogis an opportunity to build their focus, strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and self-management. Using games, music, and activities, this class will strengthen poses, breathing techniques, mindfulness, mind-body connection, emotions and self-calming tools, and more… while still being playful and fun! Classes are tailored to the ages of the participants, but parents are welcome to join.
