Ski and Winter Gear Swap & Telluride Mountainfilm On Tour Wednesday, November 12th at Homer High!

Join us for a fun night of community connection, bargain shopping, film, food and good times on Wednesday, November 12th starting at 5:30pm with Mountainfilm Fest at 7pm!

Homer Community Recreation is sponsoring this "Cross Over Event" as we kick out the upcoming winter season of recreation!

Ski & Winter Gear Swap:  starts at 5:30pm in the Homer High Commons..look for some bargains of folks selling their equipment/clothing and/or bring your gear to sell or trade.  This is free event, no businesses please. Bring all of your skis and snowboards to get them waxed by the Homer High Cross Country Ski Team for a small fee as this is one of their important fundraisers. 

Plan to stay for dinner as HOWL will be selling six different  delicious soups and bread as a fundraiser to support their outdoor adventure programs.  Dessert selections will also be available for purchase and enjoyment provided by the Homer Middle School "AK to DC Annual Trip" fundraising group.

Plan to stay the rest of the evening in the Mariner Theater to watch a night of amazing documentary films from the Telluride Mountainfilm ON TOUR Show  sponsored by Homer Community Recreation starting at 7pm..  Tickets are available for purchase at the door for only $10.
