2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan
Updated annually, the City of Homer’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a long-range guide for capital project expenditures. See 2022-2027 CIP link below.
The CIP includes capital projects the community envisions for the future with a plan that integrates with the City’s annual budget. The CIP identifies ways projects will benefit the community, cost and schedule information with a priority designation Level 1 (highest), 2 or 3. Projects are compiled by input from the public, regional agencies and City staff, plus various advisory commissions that serve the City of Homer.
Projects to be undertaken by the State of Alaska and other non-City organizations are included in the CIP in separate sections. An overview of the City's capital project Development Schedule and Financing Assumptions are found in the Appendix.
