Equipment

The library offers a variety of equipment available for use in the library:

• Microform and microfiche reader with printing capabilities
• Photocopier (black & white/color)
• Page magnifier for the visually impaired
• Scanner for use with USB devices or email
• Videophone

We also allow certain equipment to be checked out. Patrons must have a Homer Public Library card in good standing to check out equipment.

• Slide projector with carousel

• Kill-a-Watt electric usage meters
• Radon meter
• Metal detectors
• Wi-fi hotspots
• Laptops
• Sewing machines
• Portable phonograph/casette player
• Blu-ray player
• HappyLight® light-therapy boxes
• Backpacks of birding equipment
• Various kinds of sports equipment
