Evening of Poetry at HPL
Calendar Date:
An Evening of Poetry and Conversation
Tuesday, May 14th, 2024
6:30 - 7:30 pm
Join the Friends of the Homer Public Library in the library's cozy Fireplace Reading Lounge to hear from four local treasured poets as they read from their latest collections of poetry. We will hear passages from:
- The Round Whisper of No Moon by Peter Kaufmann
- It’s a Crooked Road, but Not Far, to the House of Flowers by Wendy Erd
- Follow in the Dust She Raises by Linda Martin
- Bone Strings by Anne Coray
.... and more! There will be an opportunity for guests to share comments, ask questions and have books signed by the authors.
The Homer Bookstore will have copies of these authors' works available for purchase at the library the night of this event.
