Information about Federal Funding at HPL

As the federal government continues reducing its scope of operations, patrons have asked how the changes affect services at the Homer Public Library. As of April 11, 2025, all regular services remain available.

The chart below shows which services would be most affected by a complete elimination of federal funding for libraries and their community partners. This information changes frequently and some services may find supplemental funding elsewhere, so the chart is only an approximate guide.
