Get a Library Card
A library card is your key to all of the wonderful resources the library has to offer! With a Homer Public Library card, you'll have access to:
- Thousands of books, audiobooks, videos, magazines, newspapers, music, and more
- Public computers
- Our digital ebook and audiobook collection (available 24/7)
- Electronic databases about business, health, homework, auto repair, and much more
You must visit the library and apply for a library card in person. Please be sure to bring photo I.D. and proof of mailing address in order to finalize your application. A list of acceptable items for I.D./address is available in our Library Policies. General Delivery is not an acceptable address for a permanent card.
A parent or guardian must apply for a juvenile (person under 18 years of age) card in person.
Don't have a permanent mailing address? Just visiting? Drop by the front desk and ask staff about library card options, or read about Temporary Library Cards in our Library Policies.
