How do I get a library card?
You must visit the library and apply for a library card in person (though you may pre-register online). Please be sure to bring proof of identity, residency, and mailing address to the library in order to finalize your application. A list of acceptable items for ID/residence/address is available on our Library Card Registration Policy. General Delivery is not an acceptable address for a permanent card.
A parent or guardian must apply for a juvenile (person under 18 years of age) card in person.
Not a full-time resident? Don't have a permanent mailing address? Just visiting? Drop by the front desk and ask staff about library card options, or read about Temporary Library Cards on our Library Card Registration Policy.
