Presented by Baker and Taylor Children and Youth Services. Join us onsite at the library for a special conversation on summer reading and the vital importance of public libraries!

Our special guest moderator, Mychal Threets, is the former supervising librarian at Solano County Library in CA, is a 2023 winner of the I Love My Librarian Award from ALA and a viral internet advocate for library joy. Mychal regularly posts videos sharing heartwarming patron interactions and words of encouragement for library kids and their grownups.

Mychal will be joined by NYT bestselling authors, Hena Kahn and Chris Grabenstein.

Chris is the author of the wildly popular Mr. Lemoncello's Library series, and Hena is author of the middle-grade novels Amina’s VoiceAmina’s Song, the Super You! series and the Unicorn Rescue Society series.

Mychal, Chris and Hena will also answer audience questions during this LIVE online event!

This is a zoom event that will be presented on the big screen in the children’s room at the library. We’ll make up part of a nation-wide audience. Most appropriate for upper elementary and above.
