SUBJECT: RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE DONATION OF A PARK BENCH
The Commission discussed and reviewed the application for a donation of a wooden park bench in an amount not to exceed $500 and that the applicant had a preference to source the construction locally of said bench.
The Commission approved Commissioner Sharp’s suggestion of having the park bench constructed by students and requested staff to contact the applicant.
The Applicant was receptive to the idea and will be working with Commissioner Sharp to have the bench constructed by the 6th grade students at West Homer Elementary.
Following is the excerpt of the minutes regarding the discussion and recommendation.
Recommendation
