Ordinance 10-12 Amending the FY2010 Budget to Replacing the Roll-Up Baggage Door at the Airport

ORDINANCE 10-12

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING THE FY 2010 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $7,725.00 FROM THE AIRPORT RESERVE ACCOUNT FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPLACING THE ROLL-UP BAGGAGE DOOR AT THE AIRPORT.

WHEREAS, The roll-up baggage door at the Homer Airport was installed sixteen years ago when the airport terminal was constructed; and

WHEREAS, The door can no longer be repaired and is a safety hazard in it’s current condition.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1. The Homer City Council hereby amends the FY 2010 Operating Budget by appropriating $7,725.00 from the Airport Reserve account for the purpose of replacing the roll-up baggage door at the airport as follows:

Section 2. This is a budget amendment ordinance, is temporary in nature, and shall not be codified.
