Please remember that campaigning is prohibited within 200 feet of an entrance to a Polling Place. That includes entrances to City Hall during Absentee Voting.  (Alaska Statutes 15.15.170)

Be A Part of the Solution! Safely Dispose of Unused Prescription Drugs

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 27th encourages people to get out and get rid of unused or unwanted prescription medication.

This disposal program is a simple, sensible way to dispose of any un-needed prescription medication -- with no questions asked.  By participating, you are doing your part to reduce the amount of drugs entering the environment or becoming a source of drug abuse in the community. 

2019-2024 Capital Improvement Plan

Attached is the City of Homer's 2019-2024 Capital Improvement Plan, or CIP for short.  

The CIP provides information on capital projects identified as priorities for the Homer community.  The projects included in the City of Homer’s CIP were compiled with input from the public, area-wide agencies, and City staff, as well as various advisory commissions serving the City of Homer.

Descriptions of City projects include ways the project will benefit the community, cost and schedule information and a priority designation Level 1 (highest), 2 or 3.
