Don't Get Caught Sleeping: Deadline to Register to Vote is Sept 3

To be eligible to vote in the October 3, 2017 Regular Election, you must be registered to vote by Sunday, September 3.

You can stop in to City Hall where the City Clerk's Office will be glad to assist you with any questions regarding voter qualifications or registration forms. The City Clerk's Office is open 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday.

You can also register to vote at the Homer Public Library

Role-Play Volunteers Needed for Sat Aug 19th Disaster Drill

Are you available Saturday morning to help your community? The Fire Department is looking for volunteers to role play for an upcoming disaster drill at the Homer airport Saturday, August 19^th.

Role players will be portraying injured passengers/crew of a crashed airplane to assist our team with this drill. The drill is required by the FAA for airport compliance – and is good for the community in the event of a real disaster! Please help out by generously giving 3-4 hours of your time Saturday.
