Homebound Services

 

Homebound services delivers a variety of library materials to residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and retirement facilities as well as those still living in their homes.

Materials are selected based on the participant’s wants and needs and will be provided until the patron no longer desires it, or when eligibility criteria have lapsed.

Magazines and Newspapers

The library subscribes to a wide variety of magazines and newspapers for adults, young adults, and children.

Videos

The Homer Public Library owns almost 5,000 movies and TV shows on DVD and Blu-ray.

Titles include a wide range of genres and subjects. Check them out!

DVDs and Blu-rays circulate for one week and can be renewed twice if there are no holds on the item.

The Homer Public Library book collection consists of over 40,000 books in the following sections: fiction, nonfiction, Alaskana, Russian language, large print, young adult, picture books, and more.

Pioneer Dock Scheduling

Pioneer Dock's face berth is available when unoccupied by the State Ferry.  To schedule the use of the dock, please fill out the online form and harbor staff will contact you to finalize the schedule request.  For dockage rates, please see our fee schedule.

Moorage Agreement for Aircraft

In the case that a floatplane needs moorage within the harbor, an Aircraft Moorage Agreement is required.  Please fill out the following form and return to the Port & Harbor Offi

Winter Metered Power Application

If you are looking for power while mooring in the harbor for the winter, the annual Winter Metered Power Program gives you the opportunity to use one of the power stalls with dedicated meters that become vacant during the winter months. This program is open to both Reserved stall lessees and transient vessels. Please note that you will be responsible for relocating your vessel if the assigned stall holder returns to the harbor.

Signup for the Winter Metered Power Program begins Monday, September 1. Power stall assignment starts in the beginning of October and winter power rates go into effect October 16th.

Moorage Agreement

A Moorage Agreement is required for every vessel that will be mooring in the harbor overnight or longer.  Please fill out the following form and return to the Port & Harbor Office
