SUBJECT: Frisbee Court Paving SAD Final Assessment Recommendations
The City Council authorized the creation of a road paving special assessment district for the above referenced subdivision by passing Resolution 17-017. Public Work coordinated the design and construction of these improvements, and construction was completed in September 2017.
Project Costs:
Design/Inspection - Nelson Engineering $ 14,523.00
Construction - East Road Services $ 156,334.63
PW Review/Inspection/Management Labor $ 4,184.30
Total Expenditures $ 175,041.93
5% Finance Overhead $ 8,752.10
Total Project Cost $ 183,794.03
25% of the cost of the road improvements are the responsibility of the benefited lot owners.
$183,797.18 x .25 = $45,948.51
$45,948.51/11 Lots = $4,177.14/ lot
Recommendations:
The City Council pass a resolution confirming the assessment roll, and establishing dates and conditions for assessment payment for the Frisbee Court Road Paving Special Assessment District.
