Mission Statement

The mission of the Port and Harbor Department is to provide safe port and harbor facilities for our commercial clients, recreational users, and the general public, to manage and maintain these facilities cost effectively, and to administer our Tariff and procedures fairly and equitably for all users.

Rules & Regulations

No Wake Zones:  Within the Small Boat Harbor, all vessels must maintain a "No Wake" speed.  "No Wake" speed is generally below 2.5 knots and must be maintain

Amenities of the Harbor

Harbor Coverage:  There is a Harbor Officer on duty twenty-four hours a day.  Contact on VHF  Channel 16 or (907) 235-3160.

Potable Water:  All water provided is potable. Water is available year-round at the Harbormaster’s Office, the Fish Dock, Deep Water Dock and Pioneer Dock. Water is available from approximately May 1 to October 1 throughout the harbor basin.

Reserved Stall Notification of Vacancy

For stall lessees that will be temporarily vacating their reserved stall either long or short term, and would like for their monthly fees to be waived during their absence, can supply the Port of H

Stall Wait List

The Port of Homer offers reserved stalls to any individual, partnership, corporation or governmental agency that apply.  Reserved stalls are offered once every year in the fall.  All applicants, except government agencies, shall designate a single individual whose name shall appear on the waiting list and who will be responsible for payment of all fees.
