Valve Turning Ceremony at South Peninsula Hospital Symbolicaly turns on Gas for the Community
On July 25 Governor Parnell visited Homer and attended a valve-turning ceremony sponsored by the City of Homer, South Peninsula Hospital and Enstar Natural Gas celebrating the first public building to be hooked up to natural gas. View photos from the event here.
South Peninsula hospital should have gas flowing by this September. Enstar will hook up all the residences and businesses in the Homer Downtown Core area that applied for Natural Gas before July 1 this fall.
