ORDINANCE 13-29
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A STATE OF ALASKA PUBLIC LIBRARY ASSISTANCE GRANT FOR FY 2014 IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,600.00, WITH A LOCAL MATCH OF $7,000.00 FOR BOOKS AND LIBRARY MATERIALS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, The City submitted an application for the Alaska Public Library Assistance Grant for books and library materials; and
WHEREAS, The State awarded the grant in the amount of $6,600.00, requiring a local match of $7,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:
Section 1. The Homer City Council hereby accepts and appropriates a State of Alaska Public Library Assistance Grant in the amount of $6,600.00 with a local match of $7,000.00 for books and library materials as follows:

Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.
