Deferred Bill Payment Options Due to COVID-19 Financial Hardships

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in tremendous economic strain and hardship on many individuals, families and businesses in Homer.  As part of the City's commitment to assisting the community with response and recovery, the City is temporarily suspending all utility shutoffs due to lack of payment.  Providing access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and washing hands remains critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19, and is an essential function of the City that will be given high priority.

Good news! Homer Public Library has resumed limited operations
beginning Wednesday, April 29.
Patrons will be able to check out materials from the back door.

 

How do I check out materials?

1. The building is still closed to the public for browsing the stacks, but you can place holds and pick them up outside the library. You can place holds in three ways

Use a land line and avoid speakerphone, if possible. If using a cell phone, ensure you are in a location with sufficient coverage.
The date of when the meeting will be can be found on the meeting's agenda and City meeting calendar.
