Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee (CPSC) was established via Resolution 23-129(A) and operates under Homer City Code Chapter 2.64. The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee is to:
- Aid in the guidance of developing the Comprehensive Plan.
- Assist in the refinement and execution of the public outreach process for the Comprehensive Plan.
- Participate in the Comprehensive Plan public outreach activities and events.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on Comprehensive Plan draft documents.
CPSC meetings bi-monthly or as needed and held at City Hall unless noted otherwise and are open to the public.
Committee Member's terms will last until the committee is dissolved. The committee consists of five members, with two City Council Members, two City Commission Members, and one City Resident. The Mayor and the City Planner may also serve as non-voting, consulting members.
